AET Transport and Mobility Forum
The AET Transport and Mobility Forum promotes active engagement of AET members and member-groups with each other and with other like-minded transport organisations through supporting and hosting a range of activities including online webinars, seminars and discussions on a wide range of transport and transport related topics of interest. We welcome new members and new ideas about transport and how we talk about transport.

The global pandemic has changed people, places and transport making accessibility planning even more important than prior to the pandemic. I am working with AET to help develop the debate about these new challenges and responses, taking transport planning beyond traditional boundaries to further develop accessibility and connectivity planning. |  |

András Munkácsy (HU) is a member of the AET Council and a senior researcher at KTI Institute for Transport Sciences in Budapest, where he is head of the Transport Development Research Centre. I am confident that the AET Transport and Mobility Forum goes far beyond a series of presentations. James Odeck (NO) is a professor of transport economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Trondheim) and a senior research economist at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA). He specializes in applied transport economics and efficiency & productivity measurements. His research in transportation covers impact assessment and benefits cost analyses, monetary valuation of impacts, ex-post studies and cost overruns, and elasticity of transport demand. Odeck has published widely in re-known transportation journals such as Transportation Research Part A, Transportation, Transport policy, and Transport Reviews. The transportation sector is one of the public sectors with ongoing new developments, e.g., digitalization, automation, and a shift from fossil fuel to renewable energy. I am happy to work with AET to develop a platform for debating these new developments and other emerging transportation issues. Hopefully, the Webinar series will help AET take the leading role in transport debates internationally. |

Dalia ZecchiAccenture Italy

Dalia Zecchi (IT) is a professional with experience in consultancy, asset management and digital transformation in civil infrastructure and transport projects. She is based in Milan, working for Accenture as Consultant with key clients in the transportation infrastructure national market. Previously, she has been part of Jacobs as Project Engineer and Transportation Consultant. Dalia joined the AET in 2020 as a member of the “Young Researchers’ and Practitioners’ Forum” Committee and has been involved in the European Transport Conference for the past years as a speaker and chairwoman, since 2022 when she takes the role of Italian Ambassador. Besides work, Dalia is also the founder of WiMIT – Women in Mobility, Infrastructure, Transport, the Italian community which promotes and connects women working in the sector. |
